Atlas Sandbags – A Heavy-Duty Sandbag Alternative to Atlas Stones

**LIMITED QUANTITIES AVAILABLE AT INTRODUCTORY PRICE!**

Level up your strength training with the Freedom Strength Atlas Sandbag! A modern, versatile alternative to traditional Atlas stones or medicine balls. Perfect for strongman training, functional strength workouts, and home gym setups, this sandbag version of the iconic stone is built to be lifted, thrown, and carried.

Crafted from ultra-durable 1050D Cordura® fabric and reinforced with heavy-duty bonded nylon stitching just like our Strongman Sandbags, our Atlas Sandbags are designed to take a beating—without cracking, chipping, or making a mess like concrete stones.

Whether you're performing ground-to-shoulder lifts, over-shoulder throws, or loaded carries, this sandbag replicates the feel and challenge of an Atlas stone with the added benefit of adjustability and portability. Since these sandbags are filled with sand, and the material can and will stretch with use, they will have give and play unlike a real concrete atlas stone. Also, depending on the type of sand used to fill, they may at first be tight or loose. If they are tight, give it some use before adding more sand to the desired weight. If they are too loose for your preference, I suggest buying a bag of rubber mulch when you get the sand so that you can use it to take up some extra room in the bags without adding much extra weight. They will never be as solid as an atlas stone, but these Atlas Sandbags will at least help you get a feel for the real thing and be safer to train with at home.

How to fill the Freedom Strength Atlas Sandbag:

  1. Take sandbag out of package
  2. Open Velcro top, unzipper, and pull out integrated internal funnel.
  3. Open funnel, push hand into bag to make sure internal bag completely opens inside.
  4. To help keep funnel open while filling, roll down the sides one time
  5. Start pouring in your sand. Start slow to make sure not to spill sand everywhere and so it goes into opening.
  6. As you fill the bag occasionally stop pouring the sand and lift the bag by either side of the “mouth” of the opening, not the funnel part, and drop it a few times to pack down the sand and make sure it gets in all crevices.
  7. As the sand gets towards the top, put your hand into the bag and push the sand towards the sides to leave a hole in the middle to add the remaining sand. You will need to do this multiple times. If you do not, the bag will not hold the correct amount of sand and when you start using it it will become very floppy and loose.
  8. Make sure to have the sandbag on a scale as you get close to the top to be sure of an accurate measurement. All sandbags are constructed to hold the labeled weight.
  9. When the sandbag is at the desired weight close the Velcro funnel tightly. Roll it down to the second strip of Velcro. Push the funnel fabric down into the zipper opening.
  10. Pull zipper closed. (This part can sometimes be difficult reaching under the Velcro closure to make sure the zipper is fully shut)
  11. When zipper is closed, push the Velcro tops together (when properly closed you should not be able to see any velcro!) and start training!
