Freedom Strength Co Strongman Sandbags are overbuilt for extreme durability and heavy, extensive use. They are the strongest most heavy duty strongman sandbags you can purchase and can endure repeated drops; however, they are not meant for slamming. It is advised to use them on rubber or non-abrasive surfaces to maintain the bags' integrity.
Please note: The loadable weight of each Freedom Strength Co strongman sandbag is dependent upon the size and density of the filler materials being used. Certain materials may cause the weight of the bag to be more or less than the stated weight on the bags. Filling the bag over the labeled weight listed on each bag may cause undue stress at the seams, potentially causing them to tear and not be covered under the warranty. WE RECOMMEND WEIGHING THE SANDBAGS WHEN YOU FILL THEM TO BE SURE THE WEIGHT OF THE SANDBAGS ARE ACCURATE. The strongman bags may expand over time with use. Sandbags are also a wear item. All sandbags will eventually fail. We strive to provide to strongest sandbags available.
Filler material not included. We recommend using DRY play sand.
- Take sandbag out of package
- Open Velcro top, unzipper, and pull out integrated internal funnel.
- Open funnel, push hand into bag to make sure internal bag completely open inside.
- To help keep funnel open while filling, roll down the sides one time
- Start pouring in your sand. Start slow to make sure not to spill sand everywhere and so it goes into opening.
- As you fill the bag occasionally stop pouring the sand and lift the bag by either side of the “mouth” of the opening and drop it a few times to pack down the sand and make sure it gets in all crevices.
- As the sand gets towards the top, put your hand into the bag and push the sand towards the sides to leave a hole in the middle to add the remaining sand.
- Make sure to have the sandbag on a scale as you get close to the top to be sure of an accurate measurement. All sandbags are constructed to hold the labeled weight.
- When the sandbag is at the desired weight close the Velcro funnel tightly. Roll it down to the second strip of Velcro. Push the funnel fabric down into the zipper opening.
- Pull zipper closed. (This part can sometimes be difficult reaching under the Velcro closure to make sure the zipper is fully shut)
- When zipper is closed, push the Velcro tops together (when properly closed you should not be able to see any velcro!) and start training!
